Aberdovey has a lot to offer the holidaymaker whether on a day trip, a short break or a weeks holiday

Aberdovey has a lovely unspoilt village atmosphere centering around the village square and Yacht Club.

It has a fantastic sandy beach stretching 4 miles to the next resort of Tywyn, the sand dunes which help protect the Aberdovey Golf Course are great for a stroll or for the children to play hide and seek, many people have their own personal BBQ in the dunes and while away many hours catching up on their suntan

Cricket, Football, Petanque, Walking, Flying your Kite,Taking the dog for a walk, Donkey Rides, Picnics, relaxing in a deckchair are all favourites of many a holidaymaker.

Aberdovey is well known as a watersports centre including sailing, surfing, kite boarding, canoeing, at many times throughout the year you will see busy in the estuary many boats, jet skis, water skis, canoes, sail and kite boards all creating a fantastic colour and seaside noise.

If you prefer a gentler way of life you can try and get a spot on the Jetty to go crabbing or on a hot day you may wish to cool down by jumping from the Jetty, all in all great family fun to be had.

If you prefer to be a bit sporty on the ground moreso than water then visit the Aberdovey Bowling Club, here Bowls, Tennis, Mini Golf and Croquet can be enjoyed at your leisure.
